The thing about Tetanus in equines

The thing about tetanus in equines is that it is impossible to avoid the bacterium that causes the disease, Clostridium Tetani lives in the soil. You might not even realise your horse has been infected until it is too late, the bacterium can enter through a puncture wound so tiny you never see it and 90% of horses that develop tetanus die.

The good news is that a simple, relatively inexpensive vaccination will protect your horse from developing the disease.

Eggsy has now had his first vaccination against tetanus, paid for with donations from his GoFundMe, he will require another in 4 -6 weeks time followed by a booster 365 days later. Many thanks to all those who have made this possible through your kindness in donating to Eggsy's care.

Would you like to help Eggsy?

Eggsy has a GoFundMe campaign to help raise funds for his care, we'd be really grateful if you'd go take a look, share it far and wide via your social media and of course if you can spare some money please donate.
