Merry Christmas

Has he been?

So last night there may have been a little confusion over the reindeer's carrots, not Santa's mince pie and glass of sherry. I'm sure you understand that a certain young gentleman, who will of course remain nameless so as not be embarrassed, wasn't really interested in mince pies and sherry but was quite convinced that the carrots were for him!

So this is Christmas

And what have you done

Another year over

And a new one just begun

And so this is Christmas

I hope you have fun

The near and the dear ones

The old and the young

Eggsy Advent Calendar Day 24 Christmas Eve

Christmas Eve and Eggsy is getting ready to hang his Christmas stocking. There's talk of train sets and xboxes even though he has no idea what they might be. We suspect he might have overheard someone's conversation! 

Eggsy's BFF has told him to calm down, be sensible and ask for what is dearest to a horses heart

Not long now ~ only 2 sleeps to go!

The Christmas forage has been delivered & Eggsy is getting all excited wondering if he'll catch sight of Santa's sleigh and REINDEER! There was a little confusion the other day when a small herd of roe deer galloped across the field behind us ~ Eggsy thought they were Santa's reindeer. Bless him!

Eggsy Advent Calendar Day 20

And peace is restored!

Eggsy is naughty no more thanks to an early Christmas Present

It would seem that Eggsy's thick winter coat was enough to protect him from our old electric fence energizer hence he kept walking through the fence and causing mayhem! But this new one  has done the trick and he is now respecting the fence again. Phew what a relief!
