How's Eggsy the abandoned colt?

Eggsy was found, abandoned, earlier this year, dehydrated, starving and covered in lice. During the two months he has been in our care he has gone from this

sad, undernourished colt to

this healthy looking chap.

The painful sores have healed and the lice have been eradicated.

Eggsy gains confidence daily, his social skills have increased in leaps and bounds
going from a foal frightened by other equines to one

confident enough to share haylage in close proximity with a horse much bigger than himself.

He has seen the farrier, taken wormer and

learned to wear a rug, all for the first time.

Eggsy's still suffers from locking stifles but they too seem to have improved a little and we're hoping that given time and care he will be one of the 80% of foals who grow out of this condition.

We are really pleased with the improvement in Eggsy, none of which could have been achieved without the financial assistance from those who have kindly donated to |Eggsy's GoFundMe campaign to whom we are eternally grateful.

Would you like to help Eggsy?

Eggsy has a GoFundMe campaign to help raise funds for his care, we'd be really grateful if you'd go take a look, share it far and wide via your social media and of course if you can spare some money please donate.

Thank you, Eggsy and I really appreciate it x
