Eggsy's locking stifles ~ an update

We've spoken about Eggsy's locking stiffles before  but we thought it was about time we did a little update on how he's doing.

When Eggsy was abandoned there were times when he would quite literally drag one or other of his hind legs along. It was horrible to see and in a way quite frightening, the video below although not of Eggsy shows what we're talking about here:

We found that Eggsy was always worse if he didn't move much so in an attempt to get him moving we would take the feed waggon through is paddock.

As you can see he was quite enthusiastic in his pursuit of hard feed ! And it was a fairly successful ploy because he quite quickly went from the awful dragging of his legs to this:

This video shows the action we're talking about, again it isn't a video of Eggsy but one that we found on YouTube:

Eggsy's stifles continue to lock like this when he stands still for any length of time but he is able to unlock them once he gets going.

We remain hopeful that Eggsy will eventually grow out of this condition so that he doesn't have to have surgery.

Would you like to help Eggsy?

Eggsy has a GoFundMe campaign to help raise funds for his care, we'd be really grateful if you'd go take a look, share it far and wide via your social media and of course if you can spare some money please donate.

Thank you, Eggsy and I really appreciate it x
