Eggsy Advent Calendar Day 13

Today's Advent Calendar window is for Charity Tuesday a special day of the week for charitable works. Also called Giving Tuseday, whether it's money, time or your cast off clothes and unwanted items we can all give something to a charitable cause.

So if you're tidying up for Christmas guests instead of throwing stuff in the bin pop it in a box and drop it off at a charity shop.

Bored with nothing to do, phone a favourite cause and see if you can be a volunteer for a few hours a week.

Getting a new phone for Christmas, consider donating your old one to charity.

Haven't written Christmas cards yet? Spend the money on a charitable donation instead but remember to tell your friends and family that's what you've done.

Still need to send cards? Buy cards from your favourite charity.

Last minute Christmas presents? Adopt a pony from one of the equine charities.

Buy a cup of coffee every day on your way to work? Don't! Think about it, you probably spend around £10 a week on that take out coffee. £10 would eg. buy a bag of horse feed. Give it up for just one week and give the money to a charitable cause instead.

About Eggsy:

Eggsy is a rescue pony he was abandoned and left to starve by his owners as a foal. His care is funded by donations.

Would you like to help Eggsy?

Eggsy has a GoFundMe campaign to help raise funds for his care, we'd be really grateful if you'd go take a look, share it far and wide via your social media and of course if you can spare some money please donate.

Help Raise Abandoned Foal Eggsy ~ GoFundMeThank you, Eggsy and I really appreciate it x
