February made us shiver but not for long

Hello, ages since we blogged here, winter has been running away with us. It can be such a hard slog with iced up water, muddy fields and forage prices increasing but this year we've been lucky to have a bit of respite with a February "heatwave".

What a month of contrast February has been this year, Eggsy's view from the paddock went from snowmen

to blossom in a matter of days.

The mud dried out and everyone has been enjoying the unseasonably warm weather.

Temperatures dropped again today and it's just started to rain so back to mud I guess but we have enjoyed our break it was like a winter holiday for us!

We have thank you's to say to those of you who continue to support Eggsy's care, thank you Philomena, Graham, Donna, Leighton, Elizabeth, Candice, Boris and our anonymous friends we couldn't do this without you it really does take a village to raise a pony!

About Eggsy:

Eggsy is a rescue pony he was abandoned and left to starve by his owners as a foal. His care is funded by donations.

You can read the story of his abandonment here: About Eggsy Pony

Would you like to help Eggsy?

Eggsy has a GoFundMe campaign to help raise funds for his care, we'd be really grateful if you'd go take a look, share it far and wide via your social media and of course if you can spare some money please donate.
